This second floor office is petite, with low ceilings that couldn’t be raised due to the historical nature of the home so instead we highlighted them with pattern.
Berwyn Greek Revival
The Wharton House, circa 1830, sits outside Philadelphia. While the home presents as quaint on the outside, the center hall entry is flanked by the living room and dining room with tall ceilings and substantial millwork, which makes them feel slightly more formal.
Our goal in designing this home was to marry modesty and grandeur; quaintness and formality.
